Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a small team of quality inspectors
- Manage batch, first-off and in-process inspection activities
- Program and operate CMM/GMM equipment (training available on specific systems)
- Evaluate inspection results and escalate non-conformances
- Carry out incoming, in-process and final inspection of precision components
- Use a wide range of inspection tools (micrometers, air gauges, height gauges, etc.)
- Support defect identification (MPI, ultrasonic testing, chemical etching, surface checks)
- Communicate quality issues effectively with production teams
- Maintain inspection records, documentation and traceability
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Background in precision engineering / machining environment
- Proven CMM programming experience
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings
