Carbon60 is looking for a Process Engineer to join a client of ours based in Broughton on a contract until the end of November 2026. This Process Engineer is taking on the role of an AOS Change Agent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and improve boards & routines with operational teams
  • Train and coach by running awareness sessions with teams
  • Launch and participate in management go-look-see initiatives, providing structured feedback
  • Measure and report maturity (KPIs, activities, self-assessment)
  • Co-facilitate AOS workshops
  • Participate in industrial assessments
  • Co-facilitate building AOS / MES roadmap and Tactical Implementation Plan (TIP) with operational teams
  • Exchange good practices with other AOS Agents

Required Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of AOS standards, global system view, and Operational Excellence principles
  • Proficiency in Lean / Six Sigma principles, methods, and tools
  • Ability to tutor AOS bricks & MES usage to front-line managers, technicians, and operators
  • Understanding of change management basics and ability to adapt tutoring approaches
  • Ability to provide structured feedback to leaders on routines management and performance dialogue
  • Ability to identify deviations from standards and propose simple recommendations through self-assessment
