The RoleWorking as part of the site engineering team, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of production and packaging machinery across the factory. You’ll be heavily involved in:
- Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
- Reactive breakdown support
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Supporting production uptime and machine reliability
- Continuous improvement activities
- Working closely with production operators and fellow engineers
- Motors, drives and control panels
- PLC‑controlled machinery
- Sensors, inverters and relays
- Pneumatic and automated production equipment
- High‑speed manufacturing and packaging machinery
- Electrically biased maintenance background
- Experience working within a factory / manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical fault‑finding skills
- Engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent)
- Ability to work well under pressure in a production environment
