Due to company growth, we are looking to recruit a Skilled MIG Welder/ Fabricator for an industry leading manufacturer located near Pocklington / Market Weighton to produce a range of products from various grades of Mild steel from 275 to 700.
Hours of work: Monday – Thursday 0800 – 1630 / Friday 0800 – 1530. All OT paid at premium rates.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in MIG welding Mild Steel components from 1mm – 25mm.
- Experience with TIG welding is advantageous but not essential.
- Demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills.
- Carry out work in safe conditions including manual handling.
- MIG / TIG welding.
Qualifications:
- Time served Engineer.
- Experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of working with a range of mild steel.
- Comfortable reading engineering drawings.
- A 'Can do Attitude' is everything to this client!
