An established and growing M&E contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of electrical packages across a range of commercial, industrial, and secure government projects. The business delivers full mechanical and electrical solutions from design through to installation and commissioning, working across sectors including healthcare, defence, utilities, and commercial environments. This role will play a key part in delivering high-quality electrical projects, with a strong focus on Ministry of Defence works. Due to the nature of these projects, current security clearance is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion
  • Oversee programme delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Ensure all works are delivered in line with health & safety standards and compliance requirements
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Manage project documentation, reporting, and commercial aspects
  • Support procurement and resource planning
  • Drive quality assurance and commissioning processes

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the M&E / Building Services sector
  • Background delivering commercial and/or industrial electrical projects
  • Experience working on government or defence projects is highly desirable
  • Active Security Clearance (SC or higher) – essential
  • Strong understanding of electrical installations, compliance, and industry standards
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project phases
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Desirable

  • HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
  • SMSTS / SSSTS
  • Experience delivering projects in sectors such as healthcare, MOD, or infrastructure
  • Knowledge of both LV and HV installations
