Apple Technical Recruitment is collaborating with an established Cost Consultancy that has a team of over 20 Quantity Surveyors in the Eastern region and a strong reputation in the market. The company operates across multiple sectors, including Defence, on projects ranging from £5m to £100m. They are currently seeking an Associate to work on a large Defence project in Cambridgeshire, offering flexible/hybrid working options.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead Defence sector projects from feasibility through to project handover.
  • Undertake full quantity surveying/cost management/employer's agent duties, including pre-contract tenders, cost planning, and contract administration across JCT and NEC contracts, including Design and Build.
  • Manage projects autonomously and maintain close communication with the client.

Desirable Experience:

  • Previously held a Senior Quantity Surveyor role on projects over £10m.
  • Good client-facing skills and ability to lead and manage meetings.
  • MRICS Chartership or another relevant professional membership is desirable.
  • Security Clearance would be advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Building Surveying.
