We are seeking an experienced and driven Contracts Manager to oversee multiple civil engineering projects across Fife and the surrounding areas. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate multiple civil engineering contracts from inception to completion
- Oversee project teams, including Site Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource allocation
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities
- Identify and manage risks, resolving issues proactively
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within civil engineering or infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (or similar)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- SMSTS and CSCS certification
- Full UK driving licence
