We are recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to support the maintenance and operation of a commercial building in Paisley. This will be a 12 week temp contract moving on to permanent role after.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical maintenance – Carry out repairs, planned maintenance, and minor installations on mechanical equipment.
- Fault diagnosis – Identify issues, complete remedial works, and ensure tasks meet contractual timescales.
- Pipework & filters – Experience desirable but not essential.
- Handheld technology – Use digital systems to record and complete tasks.
- Team support – Work with colleagues and support subcontractors on site.
- Documentation – Complete all work records accurately and on time.
- Customer relations – Maintain strong on-site client relationships.
- Health & Safety – Work safely and follow all company procedures.
- Training – Participate in required training and development.
- On-call & out-of-hours – Take part in the on-call rota and occasional out-of-hours work (paid). One in 5 weeks.
