A leading engineering business is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join its UK team and support customers across South East and South West England and South Wales. The role combines technical consultation, relationship building, and solution-led sales within a specialist condition monitoring environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with customers, building trust, and recommending the right technical solution from a specialist product portfolio. The successful candidate will spend time visiting customer and office sites, acting as a trusted advisor, and supporting commercial growth through strong technical understanding and service-led selling.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted point of contact.
- Identify customer needs and sell the most suitable solution from the product range.
- Visit customer and office sites across the region, with some overnight travel.
- Work independently while maintaining a professional and consistent approach.
Qualifications:
- Technical sales experience.
- A recognised mechanical/Electrical qualification.
- Understanding of electromechanical machinery.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- Strong IT skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using CRM systems.
Desirable:
- Condition monitoring experience.
- Mobius/BINDT ISO18436 Cat I qualification.
