Join us as a mechanic and help us deliver what matters by keeping our vehicles on the roads. With a large fleet, you’ll have the opportunity to develop and expand your mechanical skills—help repair and maintain light vans, tractor and trailer units, and our growing alternative fuel fleet. If you’re a car mechanic, we’ll offer training so you can learn how to repair HGVs, too.
What you’ll do:
- Work flexible shift patterns: Monday to Friday either from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The team will provide flexibility.
- Keep our iconic vehicles on the road by expertly handling a variety of repairs and maintenance on our large fleet.
- Carry out regular maintenance inspections, complete online records and control stock.
- Work with your fellow mechanics to achieve maintenance targets quickly, safely and reliably.
What you’ll get:
- Competitive salary of £38,355 per annum, plus shift premium of £4.61 per hour (between 8 pm‑6 am) and overtime at time and a half.
