The Role
- As Electrical Engineer, you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities while supporting the ongoing reliability and performance of electrical building services systems.
- Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with contractual requirements and industry standards.
- Maintaining and fault-finding on electrical distribution systems, lighting, power, and associated building services equipment.
- Supporting maintenance activities on HVAC and mechanical plant where required.
- Conducting fire alarm testing and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
- Accurately recording maintenance activities through the CAFM system.
- Participating in the on-call rota and responding to emergency call-outs when required.
About You
- Recognised Electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
- Experience working within commercial buildings, facilities management, or building services environments.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across electrical systems.
- A proactive approach with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Desirable
- 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification.
- Experience working within critical or high-profile environments.
- Knowledge of CAFM systems and compliance reporting.
