Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer looking for a hands‑on position within a stable, well‑established business where you can take ownership of core systems and develop your skills across infrastructure and security? Based in a shared services environment, you will work within a small, close‑knit IT team, giving you real influence and visibility across the business. In this role, you will take a hands‑on approach to designing, implementing, and supporting the organisation's core IT infrastructure while also contributing to security controls and compliance initiatives. You will act as a key escalation point, working on both operational support and project‑based improvements.

The Role:
  • Design, implement, and support IT infrastructure and security controls
  • Act as a 3rd line escalation point for infrastructure and security issues
  • Work across core systems including Windows, networking, cloud, and backups
  • Support compliance with standards such as ISO 27001 and related frameworks
  • Contribute to ongoing projects and continuous improvement initiatives
The Person:
  • 5+ years' experience in Infrastructure or Security Engineering
  • Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP knowledge
  • Solid networking fundamentals including firewalls, VPNs, and routing
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills
  • Reliable, team‑oriented, and adaptable with a stable career history
