About the Role

To support the planning function by ensuring that supply aligns with demand, maintaining accurate planning data, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve any supply chain or scheduling issues. The role is responsible for monitoring planning activity, identifying potential risks, and ensuring customer and operational expectations are met.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Ensure compliance with production and supply plans to meet customer demand
  • Monitor planning systems and update data accurately to reflect real‑time status
  • Co‑ordinate resolution of supply or scheduling issues with relevant departments
  • Communicate any changes or exceptions to internal teams in a timely manner
  • Support forecasting processes and highlight significant variances
  • Maintain stock and inventory levels in line with business and service requirements
  • Work closely with warehouse, procurement, and production teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Identify and escalates risks that may impact delivery performance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and systems

Essential Qualifications

Educated to A Level or equivalent, or relevant experience within a planning or supply chain role

Desirable Qualifications

Degree educated in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous experience in a planning, scheduling, or supply chain role
  • Understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
  • Advanced IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business
  • Experience working with planning or ERP systems
