Immediate Start

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm.

Due to the continued expansion of the business, we have an excellent immediate opportunity for a self‑motivated, dedicated Welder Fabricator to join their modern manufacturing facility in the Fabrication and Welding department.

The successful Welder Fabricator will be working on a wide range of fabrications and MIG Welding from small components to large, complicated chassis and frame works.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparing mild steel and welding to high standards.
  • Fabricating and MIG welding components of varying size and complexity.
  • Preparing finishing fabrications for shot blast and paint – grinding, sanding and de splattering.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Meeting production targets.
  • A focus on quality.
Qualifications:
  • You will have MIG Welding and fabrication experience for this role.
  • Initially this is a short‑term temporary contract but could be extended.
  • TIG welding and stainless steel/aluminium fabrication experience would be an advantage along with forklift and overhead crane certificates; training will be provided.
