About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical installations on a residential construction project. The successful candidate will manage day to day site activities, coordinate subcontractors, ensure works are delivered safely and to programme, and maintain high quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team delivering high quality residential developments.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all mechanical works on site including HVAC, plumbing, pipework, ventilation, and plant installations
  • Coordinate and manage mechanical subcontractors and labour
  • Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks
  • Monitor health & safety compliance and enforce site procedures
  • Attend coordination and progress meetings with project teams
  • Liaise with main contractors, consultants, and other trades
  • Assist with commissioning, snagging, and project handover
  • Maintain accurate site records and progress reports
  • Identify and resolve technical and installation issues efficiently

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within residential construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification
  • CSCS card required
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead teams and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors on live construction sites
