Our client, a respected Midlands-based design & build contractor, is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Project Manager to oversee complex commercial and industrial building projects ranging from £50k to £5m+. Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Mechanical HVAC design and build, ideally within commercial or industrial environments
  • Strong understanding of HVAC principles, systems and building services best practice
  • HND/HNC or Degree in Mechanical Building Services (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience or working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM software
  • Excellent communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work independently or as part of a wider team

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management across Mechanical HVAC installations, ensuring projects run smoothly from design to completion
  • Prepare and develop technical specifications, construction drawings, plant/equipment schedules and documentation
  • Manage subcontractors, site activities, procurement and supplier ordering
  • Oversee project financials including cost tracking, variations, forecasting and monthly applications for payment
  • Attend site meetings, resolve installation issues, and organise commissioning and handover documentation
