Seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler who is flexible to work on a variety of low volume machinery / mechanical equipment. The role is permanent and day-based with scope for overtime. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembly Technician to support the assembly of high quality engineered products. You will need a good level of manual dexterity and be comfortable working with a range of hand tools. Exposure to varied assembly drawings and instructions would be ideal.

Salary & Package: £31,500 basic, 26 days holiday + 6.5% pension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Using hand tools to assemble mechanical products.
  • Following a range of technical engineering drawings to build a range of products.
  • Ensuring products are assembled to high quality standards.
  • Supporting wider areas of the business/colleagues when required.

Qualifications & Suitability:

  • Previous production and assembly experience, enjoyable variety.
  • Strong manual dexterity and experience using a range of hand tools; ability to hit the ground running and take initiative to problem solve.
  • Attention to detail and appreciation for getting quality right the first time to a high standard.
