Due to continued growth and development, an established and expanding engineering and manufacturing Group are looking to appoint an experienced Group Commercial Sales Manager to support the next phase of business growth. This is an exciting senior-level opportunity for a commercially driven individual with a strong background in manufacturing or industrial sales. You will play a key role in driving profitable revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting the long-term commercial strategy across multiple businesses within the Group.
The Role
- Develop and implement commercial sales strategies across the Group
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within OEMs, distributors, and end-user markets
- Manage key accounts, long-term contracts, and customer relationships
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and margin management
- Prepare quotations, tenders, and technical proposals alongside engineering and operations teams
- Work closely with production, planning, and supply chain teams to align customer demand with manufacturing capacity
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and raw material pricing
- Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline activity using CRM systems
- Support and mentor sales/account management team members where required
What We Are Looking For
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Sales, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial sales within manufacturing or industrial sectors
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, pricing models, and cost structures
- Proven experience managing B2B accounts and full sales cycles
- Experience with tenders, contracts, and long‑term supply agreements
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially astute with a strategic mindset
- Ability to translate technical requirements into commercial solutions
Package
- Circa £55,000 - £60,000 salary dependent on experience
- Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm working hours
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
