As the Contract Product Safety & Compliance Engineer, you’ll be the go‑to specialist ensuring products meet the highest safety and regulatory standards. This isn’t a box‑ticking role – you’ll have real influence across R&D, shaping how new products reach certification while keeping legacy products fully compliant. What You’ll Own
- Lead all product safety and compliance activity across new development and existing product lines
- Drive certifications for CE, UL, EMC and related regulatory frameworks
- Partner with R&D to guide products through the full certification lifecycle
- Review designs, test plans and documentation to ensure compliance from concept to release
- Manage relationships with external test houses and certification bodies
- Maintain and update legacy certifications, ensuring continued conformity
- Support internal teams with audits, corrective actions and compliance queries
What You Bring
- Strong experience in product safety, compliance and certification management - specifically for electronic/electro‑mechanical products
- Solid understanding of CE marking, UL standards, EMC testing and regulatory pathways
- Confidence working closely with engineering and R&D teams
- Ability to interpret standards, assess risk and advise on compliance strategy
- Clear, structured documentation and communication skills
