My client is a fully independent Financial Advisory firm, providing both businesses and individuals with sound Financial Planning and Financial Advice across Investments, Inheritance Planning, Retirement Planning, Cash Flow Planning and Investment & Tax Planning for Businesses since 2014. Focusing on goals‑based holistic Financial Planning. We are urgently seeking a Chartered Financial Adviser to join the existing Financial Advisory team and to service our clients on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Working collaboratively with our paraplanners, give advice to our clients to help them best achieve their goals.
- Present lifetime cash‑flow forecasts with multiple scenarios.
- Present financial plans with our advice, and suitability reports for regulated recommendations.
- Managing a portfolio of clients, delivering scheduled reviews, and all advice needed during the year.
- Meeting prospective clients, to assess the advice they need, and propose how we can best help them.
- With strong technical knowledge, support other members of the Balance team.
- Nurture all client relationships, as well as important professional relationships.
Qualifications
- We require a Chartered Financial Adviser (possibly will consider someone who is very close to Chartered qualification level) with strong technical knowledge and a number of years of technical paraplanning experience.
- You must have Pension Transfer qualifications and experience in preparing defined benefit pension advice.
- You will work holistically, and be able to see a client’s ‘big picture’ and work out how they can best achieve their life goals.
- You may already be using the Kinder Institute life planning approach or something similar and must be comfortable in a wide range of Financial Planning areas.
- You will also have cash‑flow modelling experience ideally using Voyant as well as being an effective communicator at all levels.
