Our client is a leading provider of building services across public and private sectors. Their Norwich office has an opportunity for a talented and experienced senior / principal structural engineer to join them on a full time permanent basis.
The role:
- Manage project delivery from concept to construction
- Carry out design work in all traditional materials
- Represent firm at client and site meetings
- Mentor and train more junior engineers
- Proficient designing in all traditional materials
About you:
- Degree level Chartered or near Chartered Engineer (MISruct / MICE)
- Significant previous experience of managing the whole design processes from concept to construction
- Previous experience in day‑to‑day running of a variety of projects
- Adept in liaising professionally with external clients and agencies
- Thorough knowledge of design to British Standards and EuroCodes and of Health & Safety / CDM
- Experience of large complex steel structures
- Expertise in use of Tekla Structural Designer is desirable
