Company & Project: An established cost consultancy operating regionally across multiple sectors is seeking an experienced and ambitious Chartered Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.
Our client has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to progress their career within a forward-thinking business offering a clear pathway to Associate level. The company prides itself on its people, with a proven track record of surveyors joining the business and progressing rapidly through the ranks with no glass ceiling.
You will join a business with a strong team-working ethos, taking full responsibility for high-profile projects valued up to c£20m across either the Residential or Infrastructure sectors, tailored to your experience and skillset.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for leading projects (£10m-£30m) from feasibility through to handover.
- Deliver comprehensive cost management and quantity surveying services, including pre-contract tenders, cost planning, and contract administration.
- Work extensively with JCT and NEC contracts, including Design & Build.
- Manage client relationships directly and work closely with internal Directors, making strong communication skills essential.
Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a Cost Consultancy, Chartered Surveying Practice, or similar environment.
- Comprehensive pre-and post-contract cost management experience.
- Previous Roles: Project Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor, MRICS Surveyor, Senior Cost Consultant, Senior Cost Manager, or Senior Project Surveyor.
Qualifications & Skills:
- MRICS qualification.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Building Surveying.
