Overview

We are looking for a reliable and self‑motivated Maintenance Operative with multi‑trade skills to carry out a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks across residential and commercial properties. You'll need to be organised, work well independently, and provide high quality work while delivering good customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general maintenance and repair work across properties
  • Complete both planned and reactive repairs efficiently
  • Perform a range of tasks including:
    • Carpentry
    • Plumbing
    • Painting and decorating
    • Plastering and tiling
    • Groundworks and external maintenance
  • Respond to tenant enquiries professionally
  • Carry out property safety checks (e.g. fire, water safety, hazards)
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety compliance
  • Keep accurate records and reports of work completed
  • Help maintain external areas and property appearance
  • Manage your own workload and priorities
  • Participate in out-of-hours emergency work when required
  • Support or mentor trainees if needed
