We're supporting a specialist manufacturing business in their search for a Maintenance Planner to join their engineering team in Norwich.
You'll be responsible for coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities that support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production machinery.
Core Duties
- Planning and coordinating maintenance activities
- Creating and managing planned maintenance work packs
- Working closely with operations teams to coordinate maintenance activities
- Tracking maintenance KPIs and reporting progress against schedules
- Managing work orders through the CMMS and ensuring accurate documentation
- Coordinating reactive maintenance activities following breakdowns or urgent issues
- Supporting engineering projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and capital investments
- Liaising with engineers, electricians, technicians, and contractors to ensure work is delivered safely and efficiently
About You
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Previous maintenance planning experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of electrical systems and IEE Wiring Regulations
- Experience using CMMS systems
- Strong planning, scheduling, and organisational skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
