This is a unique opportunity with a rapidly growing FMCG business undergoing substantial investment and growth.
This role reports to the Engineering Manager and will be diverse, leading a small team of Maintenance Engineers while also remaining hands-on.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of Maintenance Engineers, planning and delegating workload.
- Write and maintain the Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programme and CMMS with a focus on improving reliability and site-wide improvements.
- Balance hands-on engineering work with leadership duties.
- Engage in project work associated with ongoing site improvements and capital investments.
- Support Lean, Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with long-term fixes.
- Foster a genuine, collaborative team culture and fit within the close-knit site.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in Food / FMCG or manufacturing sectors is key.
- Proven background as an Engineering Supervisor, Team Leader, Senior Engineer, or equivalent, with experience leading multi-disciplined engineering teams.
- Willingness to consider current Maintenance Managers seeking a new challenge.
