The Company
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC contract experience. The company is a leading Tier 1 contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-value construction and civil engineering projects across the industrial, logistics, residential, and infrastructure sectors. The business is known for its delivery-focused approach and consistently works on some of the largest and most significant schemes in the UK. This is a highly autonomous, mobile role offering real ownership across multiple live projects, working across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and civils schemes.
Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Full commercial management of civils and infrastructure projects under NEC forms of contract
- Managing cost control, forecasting, CVRs and monthly reporting across multiple projects
- Administering change control, compensation events and contractual notifications
- Preparing and agreeing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts
- Supporting procurement strategy and subcontract management
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure commercial and programme alignment
- Identifying and managing commercial risk and opportunity across live projects
- Ensuring contractual compliance and robust record keeping under NEC requirements
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders and delivery teams to maintain strong commercial relationships
About You
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civils and/or infrastructure projects
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (essential)
- Experience managing multiple projects or a portfolio of works
- Confident working autonomously in a mobile / site-based role
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent contractual awareness
- Effective communicator with the ability to influence site and client teams
What’s on Offer
- Salary up to £80,000 depending on experience
- Car allowance or company car
- 10% guaranteed bonus
- Private healthcare
- Hybrid working with genuine flexibility
- High level of autonomy and trust
