A Northampton based company is seeking skilled Construction Materials Technicians to join their East Midlands team. This permanent role offers a salary of £28,000 - £35,000 DOE plus overtime, bonuses, and shift allowances.

The Role:
- Carry out on-site sampling and testing of construction materials in accordance with British and European Standards.
- Liaise professionally with clients and site personnel.
- Prepare, record, and present test data accurately.
- Support colleagues with test methods and procedures.
- Cross-check calculations and results for quality assurance.
- Perform daily vehicle checks, routine maintenance, and maintain cleanliness.
- Assist with sample preparation when required.
- Carry out additional duties as needed to support operations.
Skills & Experience:
- Qualified to GCSE Grade C and above / Grade 4 - 9 in Maths, English and one science subject.
- Experience in Geotechnical or ground materials testing (highly advantageous).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within a quality system.
