The Role

As an Engineer, you will be responsible for the preparation, build, and installation of engineering systems across our luxury yachts, working in line with current drawings, specifications, and company guidelines. This is a hands-on role where you will install a wide range of mechanical and onboard systems, contributing directly to the functionality and performance of each vessel. You will work closely with other trades throughout the build process, ensuring systems are integrated efficiently and to the highest standards.

About you

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering systems, including hydraulics, plumbing (domestic and marine), air conditioning, gas, and engine/drive installations
  • Good understanding of marine engineering practices, GRP boat construction, and current technologies
  • Solid awareness of health and safety requirements and best practices
  • Proven ability to build, install, and integrate engineering systems within yachts or recreational craft
  • Experience working with hand, power, and bench-mounted tools, with metal fabrication and TIG welding skills desirable
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Comfortable working at height, in confined spaces, and across varied environments
  • Experience in mechanical installations within the marine or recreational craft industry, ideally in a similar recent role
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
