Key Responsibilities
- Produce and check high‑quality engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
- Create and manage 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Plan and deliver day‑to‑day draughting tasks for assigned projects.
- Support Project Engineers and Project Managers with technical input and documentation.
- Ensure all drawings comply with internal standards, specifications, and project requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and assist with implementing agreed actions.
- Monitor progress of drawing deliverables, highlighting risks around schedule, cost or technical issues.
- Support continuous improvement activities and product development initiatives.
- Prepare technical information for manuals, ITPs, and other engineering documentation.
- Maintain accurate drawing registers and project documentation in line with quality system requirements (e.g. ISO 9001).
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Design Draughting.
- Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD (essential).
- Experience producing 2D & 3D engineering drawings to industry standards.
- Exposure to mechanical or offshore/industrial equipment is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multi‑discipline engineering environment.
- Strong organisation skills, able to plan and manage personal workload independently.
- Proactive, self‑motivated and adaptable to changing project demands.
Qualifications
- HNC in an Engineering discipline (or equivalent).
