My client is looking for an experienced, self‑motivated Senior Electrical Design Engineer to work from home and provide support across Scotland. The role primarily supports major clients serving the Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Justice. Projects have design periods ranging from one to several months and vary in nature, giving the engineer a dynamic range of design duties.
Key Attributes
- Degree qualified, or practical experience with recognised academic qualifications.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including client representatives.
- Ability to contribute meaningfully to meetings with clients, project teams, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Undertake and deliver high‑quality detailed engineering design for electrical building services and power distribution systems, including calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications and other related documents.
- Good knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, regulations, guides and best practice.
