Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland, Chester-Le-Street, Washington.

Salary and Benefits: £34,000 – £38,000 basic salary depending on experience. Company van and tools. Uncapped overtime available. Bonus available. Life, medical, and dental insurance. 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Field‑based service within a local territory.
  • Perform services, reactive repairs, and end‑user training on commercial coffee and drinks machines.
  • Use electrical and mechanical skills to achieve a strong first‑fix rate.
  • Maintain spare stock in vehicle.
  • Organise service diary a week in advance.
  • Flexibility on start times between 6 am and 9 am.
  • Report to the Regional Service Manager and Senior Service Engineer.
  • Work Monday‑Friday weekdays, plus one in four weekends.

Qualifications:

  • Previous field service engineering experience with electromechanical systems.
  • Experience in fast‑paced environments with emphasis on SLAs and KPIs.
  • Empathetic and customer‑focused with strong communication skills.
  • Good sense of humour.
  • Full UK driver’s licence and right to work in the UK indefinitely (no sponsorship).
  • Experience with coffee and drinks machines preferred but training can be provided.
