Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer – Days, Mon to Fri

Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland (Commutable from: Sunderland, Blyth, Washington, Durham, Middlesbrough, Newton Aycliffe)

Great salary + 5% Bonus + Days based role, Mon to Fri + Training + Progression + 8% Pension + Private Healthcare + Flexible start / finish times + Benefits

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the company’s onsite electrical plant equipment & instrumentation, including valves, pressure vessels and low/medium voltage electrical systems. The shift is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm with flexible start/finish times.

Responsibilities:

  • Planned / preventative maintenance
  • Electrical systems, plant upgrades, valves / pressure systems

Qualifications:

  • Electrical maintenance background
  • Experience working in chemicals, food, steel or gas environments
  • Experience in hazardous or highly regulated environments
  • Understanding of GMP
