We are looking for a candidate with experience in welding processes and a passion for teaching. The role is based in Lancashire and is full‑time, permanent.

Industry candidates are welcome. A Level 3 qualification in Welding or a related subject is required. Full training and support to achieve relevant teaching qualifications can be provided.
Responsibilities
- Train apprentices in the workshop to develop knowledge, skills, and behaviours to industry standard
- Plan and deliver high‑quality practical workshop sessions
- Prepare learning materials and resources
- Complete assessments in line with Awarding Body and EPAO requirements
- Work closely with assessors and training staff to monitor apprentice progress and achievement
- Contribute to regular learner progress reviews
Qualifications & Requirements
- Substantial current industry experience and knowledge within engineering and welding
- Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Welding, Fabrication, or a relevant engineering subject
- Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above, or willingness to work towards one
- A1 qualification (desirable)
