Do you have experience maintaining and fault-finding on FMCG machinery? Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients in Gainsborough. Our client is a leading manufacturer in the FMCG industry, supplying their products to multiple other manufacturers.
The Role:
- Perform planned preventive and reactive maintenance on state-of-the-art machinery.
- Uphold health and safety standards, conducting risk assessments and implementing effective controls.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, minimize downtime, and contribute to improvement projects.
- Maintain detailed records, including PM sheets and system logs, to support seamless operations.
The Candidate:
- A strong engineering background (HNC, City & Guilds, or time-served apprenticeship).
- Proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting, preferably in food production.
- Electrically biased with exposure to hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- A flexible approach and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.
- Familiarity with SAP systems (desirable).
Salary/Benefits:
- £51,623 including shift allowance.
- Matched pension contributions up to 10%.
- Life assurance 6x your salary.
- 25 days of leave plus shutdown on Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
- 4-on, 4-off shifts (6 am – 6 pm, 2 days, followed by 2 nights).
