Randstad C&P are currently working with a global FM client to onboard an experienced Static Maintenance Electrician in Morpeth.

The Package

  • Salary of £39,000 - £41,000 per annum
  • Permanent and full-time position
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • 33 days annual holidays + bank holidays
  • Generous company pension scheme

Duties

  • Routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems (e.g., distribution boards, lighting, machinery, and equipment).
  • Fault-finding and troubleshooting of electrical issues that may arise across the site.
  • Ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards (18th Edition, etc.).
  • Responding to and addressing any electrical faults or breakdowns promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the site's operations.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on equipment to avoid future issues.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a recognised electrician qualification (NVQ Level 3)
  • Successful completion of an electrician apprenticeship or have equivalent experience working as an electrician.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Over 5 years of FM experience
  • Ability to collaborate within a team or as an individual where required.
  • Ability to pass Level 3 DBS check
