Based near Milton Keynes, this growing consultancy offers the chance for a Senior Ecologist to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, renewable energy and development projects alongside experienced in-house specialists.

The Senior Ecologist will play a key role in project delivery, mentoring colleagues and maintaining high technical standards.

The role

  • Deliver ecological surveys, assessments and technical reports
  • Manage projects from inception through to completion
  • Produce Ec IA, BNG and protected species documentation
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders and regulatory bodies
  • Mentor junior ecologists and support business development

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Senior Ecologist or in a similar consultancy role
  • Strong ecological report writing and project management skills
  • Membership of CIEEM or working towards it
  • Protected species licence desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Must live in or near the Milton Keynes office
  • Willingness to undertake site visits and fieldwork
