Arc Potential is working with an established contractor looking to strengthen its project delivery team with an experienced Mechanical Project Manager from a mechanical, M&E or main contractor background.
The role will oversee projects across Central Scotland and offers the chance to join a business with a strong pipeline of upcoming work, along with scope to develop as the company continues to grow.
The Role
You will manage mechanical projects from planning through to commissioning and handover.
- Manage mechanical projects through delivery and handover
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and plant
- Keep programmes on track and resolve issues as they arise
- Monitor project costs and commercial performance
- Review drawings, specifications and technical requirements
- Maintain clear communication with clients, site teams and project stakeholders
- Oversee quality, health and safety, testing and commissioning
- Manage project documentation, closeout and final handover
About You
- You will be an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a proven background delivering similar commercial or industrial mechanical projects.
- Experience within a mechanical contractor, M&E contractor or main contractor environment is important, along with the ability to take ownership of projects and manage delivery from site through to completion.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services systems
- Confidence leading site teams and managing subcontractors
- Good commercial awareness, including project costs and budgets
- Strong organisation, planning and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across live projects
- A mechanical trade background, HNC or HND would be beneficial
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
