We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing environment based in Leamington Spa. Working a permanent day shift, this position will support both planned and reactive maintenance activities across plant equipment, machinery, and site facilities.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Maintenance & Repair
    • Conduct planned and preventive maintenance (PPM and TPM) on mechanical equipment and systems.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults with speed and accuracy.
    • Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machinery as needed.
  • Inspection & Monitoring
    • Conduct daily inspections of mechanical systems to identify wear, misalignment, and faults.
    • Monitor performance and lubrication of moving components to extend asset life.
  • Collaboration & Support
    • Work closely with operators and technicians to resolve issues and reduce downtime.
    • Support engineering projects, including equipment installation and modifications.
  • Safety & Quality
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with all safety regulations.
    • Perform risk assessments and adhere to health & safety protocols.
  • Documentation
    • Record maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
    • Provide clear and accurate reports to engineering leadership.
Requirements Of The Role
  • Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or similar.
  • Apprenticeship within an engineering discipline but not essential.
  • Proven experience maintaining a range of machinery and on-site facilities.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or industrial environments advantageous.
  • Strong fault‑finding ability with excellent attention to detail.
  • Skilled in mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics; experience with conveyors, robotics, motors, and pumps is required.
  • Knowledge of health & safety and safe systems of work.
  • Clean UK driving licence.
