Do you have experience of Mechanical assembly and Fitting along with Machining experience?

The successful candidate will be required to carry out mechanical assembly and machining operations on a variety of components and products, including the use of conventional and CNC machine tools.

The role is responsible for ensuring products are manufactured and tested in line with engineering drawings, quality standards, and production schedules while maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality control.

  • Assemble parts and sub‑assemblies in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Machine components using conventional machine tools and CNC equipment where required.
  • Programme and operate CNC machinery safely and effectively.
  • Carry out hydraulic testing of pressure vessels in accordance with relevant industry standards.
  • Maintain production throughput in line with production plans and departmental priorities.
  • Ensure other departments are supplied with products and components as scheduled.

About You

  • Mechanical fitting and machining experience.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Experience using conventional machine tools.
  • Ideally have some CNC programming and operating experience.
  • Understanding of hydraulic testing.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
