A Materials Handler working for a high-tech manufacturer, located in High Wycombe. Salary £13.50 – £14.00 per hour, 3-month temp to perm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Book in returns and goods in, input these on the ERP system within 24 hours of receipt and liaise with Purchasing on any queries.
- Assist with other stores duties such as cycle counts, Kanban and kitting, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
Requirements:
- Understanding of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience working within a stores or warehouse environment.
- Forklift licence not essential.
- Experience working within teams, managing budgets and timescales.
- Confidence and communication skills to share expertise and help others.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a proactive team.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of stock control and replenishment systems.
- Good numerical skills.
- Familiarity with general principles and procedures within a stores/warehousing environment in the high-technology sector.
