We are supporting a well‑established and successful manufacturing business in Telford that is looking to recruit a Materials and Supply Chain Planner into its existing Supply Chain team. Although the business operates globally, the Telford manufacturing site has a close‑knit team and is driving forward exciting growth plans, with clear objectives to increase production volumes over the coming years.

This is a broad, end‑to‑end Supply Chain role where you will utilise procurement and planning data to review and make informed decisions around stock levels, processes and supplier evaluation, while also maintaining accurate day‑to‑day materials purchase orders.

As the Materials and Supply Chain Planner you will be getting involved in:

  • Generating 6–12 month supply forecasts using historical data, market insight and trend analysis, factoring in seasonality and promotions
  • Liaising with customers’ planning teams to gain visibility of longer‑term demand and production schedules
  • Analysing data to ensure production has the correct materials and capacity in place to meet demand
  • Working closely with the wider Supply Chain team to continuously improve forecast accuracy and maintain effective raw material and finished goods stock levels
  • Utilising MRP system functionality to support medium‑ and long‑term planning activities

We are looking for someone who is ideally experienced in Supply Chain Analyst roles, or similar.
