Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Salary: £50,000 + 10% Bonus + Excellent Benefits

A global engineering and manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their UK production site in Sheffield. The role sits within a high‑performance environment producing complex, precision‑machined components used in advanced engineering applications. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production and tooling methods for precision manufacturing.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing plans.
• Support process improvements and resolve technical issues across machining and assembly operations.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to drive efficiency and quality improvements.
• Work as part of an Integrated Product Team to deliver technical solutions.
• Collaborate with suppliers, production teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain consistent build quality.
• Support new product introductions and continuous development of production systems.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field.
• Strong background in a fabrication or assembly manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with machined detail and assembly parts.
• Skilled in 3D CAD systems.
• Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in aerospace or high‑precision engineering sectors.
• Involvement in process improvement or lean implementation projects.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP).
• ABET‑accredited or equivalent engineering qualification.
