My client is seeking an experienced Senior BMS Engineer / Commissioning Engineer to join their growing team, based in the Northwest.

Role Overview: This Senior BMS Engineer role is suited to someone with a strong track record in the design and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS), who is confident working independently. A solid understanding of BMS and associated equipment is essential. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and collaborative professional looking to make a meaningful contribution within a well-established and reputable business.

Company Overview: With over 30 years of experience in delivering building controls, energy management solutions, and natural ventilation systems, my client has built a strong reputation for innovation, integrity, and exceptional customer service. Their work is primarily focused across the Northwest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, and commission HVAC control systems and BMS software, with a particular focus on platforms such as Tridium and Trend
  • Develop and write software and graphics from mechanical designs
  • Work across a range of communication protocols including BACnet, SIP, and Modbus

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience commissioning Building Management Systems
  • Strong expertise in Trend systems, with knowledge of Distech and Niagara (N4) highly desirable
  • Experience with BACnet, SIP, and Modbus protocols advantageous
  • Valid CSCS/ECS or JIB registration (ECS BMS Technician card)
  • Full UK driving licence
