Responsibilities
- Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring effective communication with your team and clients.
- Prepare Transport Statements and Assessments, Travel Plans, and contribute to the transport chapters of Environmental Statements.
- Engage directly with clients, planners, architects, and contractors, representing the company in meetings and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Provide input to site access designs and masterplans, taking all modes of transport into consideration.
- Manage project resources efficiently, ensuring successful and timely project delivery.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, providing technical support and training to Transport Planners and Graduates.
Qualifications
- Hold a relevant degree (or equivalent) and be working towards a professional qualification.
- Have significant experience as a Transport Planner, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- Be comfortable managing multiple client expectations and contributing to project meetings.
- Be commercially aware with an understanding of project finances.
- Have proficiency in junction modelling software (such as JUNCTIONS, LinSig, or equivalent).
- Be familiar with current design standards, able to lead design reviews, and contribute to design work using AutoCAD (or equivalent).
