What You Will Be Doing
- Working independently using your own initiative to meet targets and quality standards
- Reading engineering drawings and working effectively from work orders as an experienced Mechanical Fitter
- Installing insulated panels onto commercial vehicle bodies
- Carrying out electrical terminations including lighting, switches and tail lifts
- Sealing joints, floors and roofs using silicone and gel coatings
- Cutting metals, woods and plastics using hand tools and bench equipment
- Using hand tools, bench saws and measurement equipment safely as a Vehicle Bodybuilder
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards across all work areas
- Working in line with all health and safety, quality and compliance procedures

What You Will Need
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Vehicle Bodybuilder or Assembly Technician within a workshop or manufacturing environment

- Reliable transport or ability to travel to the Trafford Park site
- Experience within vehicle bodybuilding or commercial vehicle assembly (desirable)
