An experienced M&E AutoCAD technician is required for an independent building services company.

Role Overview

  • To produce, amend and issue drawings and calculations using AutoCAD to clients with covering letters/emails.
  • Liaise with clients, project managers and other design team members in a professional manner via telephone/email.
  • General project administration assisting the Directors.
  • Produce 2D Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health services drawings and schematics using AutoCAD.

Candidate Requirements

  • The ideal candidate would have worked as part of a team and would have:
  • Strong working knowledge of CAD platforms (AutoCAD) & Microsoft Office documents (1 to 2 years minimum of using AutoCAD Design).
  • High level of computer literacy with a good working knowledge of a variety of computer packages including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills, confident and professional manner both telephone and written.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Problem solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
