We’re looking to appoint an experienced HV Project, Site or Contracts Manager to support the delivery of electrical installation projects across the Manchester / North West region. This role would suit someone with strong HV project delivery experience who can take ownership of site-based installation works, coordinate labour & subcontractors, manage client expectations & ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially & to programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day delivery of HV installation projects across the Manchester / North West region.
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers & internal project resource.
  • Ensure all works are delivered safely, in line with RAMS, permits, switching requirements & company procedures.
  • Support project planning, site set-up, programme management & delivery sequencing.
  • Oversee installation works involving substations, 11kV cabling, transformers, RMUs & associated HV/LV equipment.
  • Act as the main point of contact between site teams, clients, subcontractors & internal management.
  • Monitor project progress against programme, cost, quality & safety expectations.
  • Identify project risks early & implement practical solutions to avoid delays or commercial issues.
  • Ensure materials, plant, labour & subcontractor resource are available in line with project requirements.
  • Review site documentation, RAMS, permits, method statements, drawings & handover packs.
  • Attend client meetings, site meetings & internal project reviews.
  • Ensure works are completed to specification, safely energised where applicable & handed over correctly.
  • Support commercial control across variations, costs, subcontractor performance & project reporting.
  • Maintain strong standards around quality, compliance, health & safety & customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience managing HV installation projects.
  • Background as a Site Manager, Project Manager, Contracts Manager or similar within HV electrical infrastructure.
  • Experience across 11kV works, substations, cabling, transformers, RMUs or associated HV/LV installation projects.
  • Strong understanding of site delivery, subcontractor management, RAMS, permits & programme control.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, site teams & internal management.
