Backed by a strong heritage, a loyal client base, and a clear strategic vision for growth, the firm is making significant investments in its Financial Planning proposition.

As part of this journey, we are seeking a talented Financial Planner who wants more than just another advisory role, someone looking for a long-term career home where they can develop, influence, and grow alongside the business. Unlike many larger organisations, this firm believes exceptional client outcomes are achieved through trusted relationships, professional autonomy, and a genuinely personal approach to advice.

You will be empowered to deliver holistic financial planning solutions tailored to each client's circumstances, supported by experienced investment professionals, technical specialists, and a leadership team committed to investing in its people.

The Opportunity

As a Financial Planner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, holistic financial planning advice to High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients. Working closely with investment management colleagues, you will help clients navigate complex financial decisions across retirement planning, investment structuring, inheritance tax planning, estate planning, protection, and wealth preservation strategies.

This is an opportunity to become a trusted adviser, developing deep and lasting client relationships while contributing to the continued expansion of a growing financial planning division.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build, maintain, and develop trusted relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Deliver holistic financial planning advice tailored to individual client objectives and circumstances.
  • Conduct comprehensive client reviews and provide ongoing planning strategies aligned to changing needs and goals.
  • Advise clients on retirement planning, tax‑efficient wealth structuring, inheritance tax mitigation, estate planning, and broader financial planning solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with Investment Managers and other specialists to deliver integrated wealth management solutions.
  • Generate new business opportunities through referrals, professional connections, and exceptional client service.
  • Structure and lead client meetings professionally, ensuring all advice is suitable, compliant, and client‑focused.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Act as an ambassador for high‑quality advice, helping to promote best practice across the wider business.
  • Continue developing technical expertise through ongoing professional development and industry learning.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) as a minimum.
  • Current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS).
  • Experience delivering holistic financial planning advice to private clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, tax planning, estate planning, and protection.
  • Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and communicate complex advice clearly.
  • A client‑first mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness and a desire to contribute to the growth of a developing financial planning proposition.
  • Ambition to build a long‑term career within a supportive and progressive environment.

Why Join?

  • Be Part of an Exciting Growth Story: Join a business that is actively investing in the future of Financial Planning, creating opportunities for advisers to develop their careers and help shape the next chapter of its success.
  • Long-Term Career Opportunity: This is not simply a role to fill today’s requirement. The firm is committed to developing and retaining talented individuals, providing clear opportunities for progression and long‑term professional growth.
  • A Culture That Values People: The business has built its reputation over decades by putting relationships first — with both clients and colleagues. You'll be joining a supportive environment where expertise is respected, achievements are recognised, and development is actively encouraged.
  • Genuine Client‑Centric Advice: Free from product‑driven pressures, you’ll have the autonomy to provide advice that is truly in the best interests of your clients, building meaningful relationships that stand the test of time.
  • Collaborative Wealth Management Environment: Work alongside experienced Investment Managers and technical specialists, delivering integrated advice solutions that create lasting value for clients.
