Electrical Site Manager – Permanent Location: Outskirts of Manchester
A well-established M&E Contractor specialising in the residential sector is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee the electrical installation on a new-build apartment development on the outskirts of Manchester.
This is a permanent opportunity, managing the full electrical package from start to completion on a 50-week project consisting of one and two-bedroom apartments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full electrical installation on site.
- Coordinate electrical subcontractors and site labour.
- Ensure works are completed safely, on programme, and to a high standard.
- Liaise with the main contractor, project managers, and other trades.
- Monitor quality, progress, and compliance with health & safety regulations.
- Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and project handover.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Electrical Site Manager on residential new-build developments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations within apartment projects.
- SMSTS or SSSTS (SMSTS ).
- ECS/CSCS card.
- First Aid qualification ().
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
