This role is ideally suited to someone at the early stages of their Quantity Surveying career who is looking to develop within a supportive and forward‑thinking environment. You'll gain hands‑on experience across prestigious projects while working closely with an experienced commercial team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with cost planning, estimates, and budgeting
- Supporting the commercial management of projects from inception through to completion
- Assisting with procurement and subcontractor packages
- Monitoring costs, variations, and project financial performance
- Supporting valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
- Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Assisting with reporting and commercial analysis
- Helping ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
What We're Looking For
- Degree qualified (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Early career experience (including placements or up to around 1-2 years in a similar role)
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Motivated individual keen to learn, develop, and grow within a business long‑term
